<br /> F. 1990 Update Committee--Mr. Bradley announced a meeting Thursday, <br />e October 12, 7:00 a.m., Gingerbread House, Mohawk and Centennial. <br /> Subject of the meeting will be the proposed urban service boundary. <br /> G. Tri-Agency--Mr. Hamel had received calls from veterinarians regarding <br /> Tri-Agency advertising free distemper shots. Veterinarians were <br /> concerned with the possible competition from the City, and wondered <br /> who was paying for the ad. Mr. Delay said he did not believe the <br /> Tri-Agency was giving free shots, but were providing low-cost shots <br /> in combination with purchasing of licenses as an overall program. <br /> Assistant Manager will respond in writing and provide copies to <br /> Council. <br /> II. Approval of Minutes <br /> Mr. Bradley moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to approve Council <br /> minutes October 4, 1978. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> III. Improvement Petitions <br /> Resolution No. 3020--Authorizing initiating procss for street paving, <br /> sanitary sewer and storm sewer construction in <br /> Bradley Drive adjacent to Wilkes Plat from 450 <br />e feet north of Bond Lane to Bond Lane; and storm <br /> sewer construction within Wilkes Plat (1472) was <br /> read by number and title. <br /> Mr. Bradley moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to adopt the resolu- <br /> ti on. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Resolution No. 3021--Authorizing initiating process for street paving, <br /> sanitary sewer, and storm sewer construction within <br /> Dawne Plat; and street paving of Cleveland Street <br /> from approximately 100 feet north of 24th Avenue <br /> to approximately 200 feet south of 25th Avenue <br /> (1607) was read by number and title. <br /> Mr. Bradley moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to adopt the resolu- <br /> ti on. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> IV. Transfer of Jurisdiction: Railroad Boulevard, Van Buren, and Blair-- <br /> Memo distributed. <br /> Manager said Lane County and the State had come to an agreement that the <br /> State cannot afford to reconstruct River Road, but could afford to main- <br /> ta in Bel tl i ne. Lane County will use 0 & C monies to reconstruct River <br /> Ro ad . The City would be responsible for certain intersections, main- <br /> tenance of some signals, power cost, and maintenance of some roads. Lane <br /> County will construct the traffic signals at 5th and Blair, and improve <br />e River Road, and construct the Chambers Connector. <br /> 10/11/78--2 <br /> b7' <br />
