<br />CB 1903--Authorizing rezoning from M-1/SR to R-1 property located on the <br />west side of Bertelsen north of 18th was read by council bill <br />number and title only, there being no Councilor present reques- <br />ting it be read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that findings supporting <br />the rezoning as set forth in Planning Commission staff notes and <br />minutes of May 1, 1979, be adopted by reference thereto; that the <br />bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with <br />unanimous consent of the Council; and that enactment be considered <br />at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read <br />the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />..... <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be approved <br />and given final passage. Roll call vote. All Councilors present <br />voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 18415. <br /> <br />2. Rezoning from RA Suburban Residential to R-2/PD property located <br />on the north si de of West 18th between Buck and Oak Patch (McCornack) <br />(Z 79-5)--(Map distributed)--Recommended by the Planning Commission <br />May 1, 1979, vote 6:1. <br /> <br />Mr. Byrne said that the property consists of two irregularly shaped <br />tax lots, a total of approximately 5.5 acres. Each tax lot is <br />occupied by one single-family residence per density of approximately <br />one-third acre. Property surrounded by residential zoning; west <br />property zoned RA; north and east--R-2 Limited Multiple-Family; <br />south--R-1 Single-Family Residential. Planning Commission cited a <br />,need to preserve natural vegetation to provide safe and efficient ~ <br />traffic circulation and encourage flexible design in placement of <br />buildings on the site. <br /> <br />No ex parte contacts or conflicts of interest were declared by <br />Councilors.
