PUBLIC BENEFITS - CONTINUED
Patterson House

9) Solicitation of comments from the relevant neighborhood associations.

I have notified the West University Neighborhood Association, of which Carmen.
my wife and. I are involved. A visit was made to the site; with pictures taken and a
presentation e-mailed to the current members, by the current Chair of the Association,
who is very enthusiastic about this project. I have been invited to speak at the
September 7, 2004 monthly meeting to further explain the quality and benefits of the
project. I have als() invited the board members to a tour of the Hilyard House at 725
E. 14th (14~ & H ilyard) which is the same ownership, contractor and will resemble the
subject in. appearance and quality.

In summary, the subject PATTERSON HOUSE, proposed 27 unit project will be a
high quality complex but will blend with adjacent older properties with brick and
pillars and will be also modern such as the UNIVERSITY INN, directly across the
street.

Thank you for your consideration.
