Section 16. Section 18. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred (200.00) dollars and costs, and in default of the payment of such fine, to be imprisoned in the City jail one day foi~ each X2.00 of sucri fine. Section 19. The City Recorder shall report to the Common Council the prosecutio:.1 or conviction of any person to whom a permit has been issued, and the Common Council may thereupon revoke and terminate the permit so issued to such person. Section 20. Tn addition to the remedies provided for herein, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police whenever a hotel, rooming house, or lodging house shall be operating without a permit and has no application pending, t~~ give the person in charge a written notice to close said place and evict all tenants
