3r)3 Section 3. The Common Council of the City of Eugene hereby orders a special election to be held in the City of Eugene, Oregon and to held in the area described, on the 20th day of December, 1944, at which election there shall be submitted to the electors of said city and to the proposed annexation area for their approval or rejection the proposal "For Annexation" or "Against Annexation" of said area to the City of Eugene. Section 4. That said proposal shall be placed upon tie official ballot by the City recorder to be voted upon by the electors of the proposed area and by the electors of said City at said election. Section 5. The City Recorder shall provide such poll book~,ballot boxes, tally;~sheets and such other supplies for each proposed area, as are necessary for the carrying on of the election, all of which shall be delivered to the election board. Section 6. The following are hereby designated as the polling places for said election in the City of Eugene, one to be in each ward of said City and the following are hereby designated as the polling places in the proposed annexation area, and the Common Council does hereby appoint the judges and clerks to serve iri each of said polling places as herein designated, to-wit: In the following list of Judges and Clerks, the first-named shall be a judge and Chairman of the election board; the seco~#d named shall be a Judge, and the next three shall be designated as first, second and third clerks: toge- they with any replacements or alternates found necessary, to-wit: Eugene Ward I CHAIRMAN JUDGE CLERKS Roosevelt School 1787 Agate Street EUGENE WARD 2 _ Washington School 275 East 7th EUGENE WARD 3 Vocational.
