3r)3 <br />Section 3. The Common Council of the City of Eugene hereby orders a <br />special election to be held in the City of Eugene, Oregon and to held in the <br />area described, on the 20th day of December, 1944, at which election there <br />shall be submitted to the electors of said city and to the proposed annexation <br />area for their approval or rejection the proposal "For Annexation" or "Against <br />Annexation" of said area to the City of Eugene. <br />Section 4. That said proposal shall be placed upon tie official ballot <br />by the City recorder to be voted upon by the electors of the proposed area <br />and by the electors of said City at said election. <br />Section 5. The City Recorder shall provide such poll book~,ballot boxes, <br />tally;~sheets and such other supplies for each proposed area, as are necessary <br />for the carrying on of the election, all of which shall be delivered to the <br />election board. <br />Section 6. The following are hereby designated as the polling places <br />for said election in the City of Eugene, one to be in each ward of said City <br />and the following are hereby designated as the polling places in the proposed <br />annexation area, and the Common Council does hereby appoint the judges and <br />clerks to serve iri each of said polling places as herein designated, to-wit: <br />In the following list of Judges and Clerks, the first-named shall be a <br />judge and Chairman of the election board; the seco~#d named shall be a Judge, <br />and the next three shall be designated as first, second and third clerks: toge- <br />they with any replacements or alternates found necessary, to-wit: <br />Eugene Ward I CHAIRMAN JUDGE CLERKS <br />Roosevelt School <br />1787 Agate Street <br />EUGENE WARD 2 <br />_ Washington School <br />275 East 7th <br />EUGENE WARD 3 <br />Vocational.
