<br />June 30 of the fiscal year; <br /> <br />1.8 Employ paid artists, performers, and crews; <br /> <br />1.9 Demonstrate an educational component; offer low- or no-cost student performances at the <br />Hult Center or at other locations in the area; and <br /> <br />1.10 On July 1, submit to the Center an annual report recapping residency qualifications. <br /> <br />The organizations must continue to fulfill the above requirements in order to maintain residency status. <br /> <br />2. The benefits of residency status include the following: <br /> <br />2.1 Resident Company rates and fees; <br /> <br />2.2 Discounted equipment rental rates; <br /> <br />2.3 Local stage labor rates; <br /> <br />2.4 No rental fee for non-dress rehearsals; <br /> <br />2.5 Institutional recognition as a Resident Company; <br /> <br />2.6 Advance scheduling priority; <br /> <br />2.7 Guaranteed facility use based on a negotiated Standard Schedule; <br /> <br />2.8 Permission to use donated food at scheduled season events; <br /> <br />2.9 Discounted merchandise percentage; <br /> <br />2.10 No deposit requirement; and <br /> <br />2.11 PUF waiver on youth events, by application. <br /> <br />3. Cooperation will continue between the Center and the resident company staff in the area of <br />scheduling, marketing, promotion and financial management. Communication between the Center <br />and resident companies will help guide these efforts. <br /> <br />4. Provision for Resident Company priority scheduling will be based on the following time line: <br /> <br />a. The calendar will open no later than 21 months prior to the beginning of the season being <br />scheduled (Le. October 1,2001 for the season beginning July 1, 2003). <br /> <br />b. A Resident Company shall submit a letter of intent to be used as the basis for Part A. of <br />the license agreement no later than January 15 prior to the beginning of the season. <br /> <br />c. License Agreements will be issued prior to subscription sales. <br /> <br />5.
