reduction goals, safety, and the financial burden of <br />travel on individuals. Further, the 2035 TSP includes a <br />policy to romote transportation demand <br />management programs along the Key Corridors, in <br />downtown, and near the University of Oregon to <br />coordinate the needs and travel options of multiple <br />businesses and residences for purposes of reducing <br />automobile and freight demand at times of peak <br />congestion. These programs could be staffed by either <br />a public agency, a business association, or by training <br />individuals within the affected businesses and housing <br />to perform this work. <br />Chapter 4 of the TSP includes a Transportation System <br />Management and Operations (TSMO) plan and a <br />Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plan. <br />Eugene, in collaboration with the Central Lane MPO, <br />LTD/ Point2point, and the City of Springfield identified <br />the key programs and services through the Regional <br />Transportation Options Plan (RTOP). The 2035 TSP <br />recognizes the RTOP as the regional guidance for <br />programs that reduce reliance on single-occupancy <br />vehicles.
