foundations, any required forms shall be in place prior to inspection. All materials <br />for the foundation shall be on the job, except where concrete is ready -mixed in <br />accordance with U.B.C. Standard No. 26-13, the concrete need not be on the job. <br />Where the foundation is to be constructed of approved treated wood, additional <br />inspections may be required by the Building Official. <br />6.5.2. Concrete Slab or Under -floor Inspection. To be made after all in - <br />slab or under -floor building service equipment, conduit, piping accessories and <br />other ancillary equipment items are in place but before any concrete is placed or <br />floor sheathing installed, including the subfloor. <br />6.5.3. Frame Inspection. To be made after the roof, all framing, fire <br />blocking and bracing are in place and all pipes, fireplaces, chimneys and vents are <br />complete and the rough electrical, plumbing, and heating wires, pipes, and ducts <br />are approved. <br />6.5.4. Insulation and Vapor Barrier Inspection. To be made after all <br />insulation and required vapor barriers are in place but before any lath or gypsum <br />board interior wall covering is applied. Except, however, ceiling and floor <br />insulation which shall be visible during the final inspection. The Building Official <br />may allow the frame insulation and vapor barrier inspections to be performed <br />simultaneously. <br />6.5.5. Lath and/or Wallboard Inspection. To be made after all lathing <br />and wallboard, interior and exterior, is in place but before any plastering is applied <br />or before wallboard joints and fasteners are taped and finished. <br />6.5.6. Plumbing Inspections. To be made under the following conditions: <br />6.5.6.1. New Construction or Remodeling: <br />6.5.6.1.1. An under -floor rough -in inspection prior to <br />placement of any concrete, cover or backfill, or prior to placement <br />of subflooring if frame construction. <br />6.5.6.1.2. A cover inspection when all above the floor <br />rough -in plumbing is in place prior to being covered and prior to <br />frame inspection. <br />6.5.6.1.3. A final inspection prior to the building or <br />remodeled area being occupied. <br />6.5.6.2 Replacement of Fixtures. (Not covered under new <br />construction or remodeling).
