2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval April 11, 2005 <br /> <br /> Expands authority of Governor to assign fire-fighting resources across jurisdictional boundaries <br /> HB 2155 3 Oppose when certain conditions exist. 2/17 <br /> Prohibits city, county, district or other political subdivision from imposing taxes, fees or driver or <br /> vehicle standards related to intrastate and intercity route of provider of regular route full-service <br /> HB 2163 3 Monitor scheduled transportation of persons. 2/11 <br /> Adds two members to Oregon Transportation Commission. Requires two members to be elected <br /> HB 2164 2 Neutral local officials at time of appointment. 2/01 <br /> Creates Local Officials Advisory Committee to advise Oregon Transportation Commission and <br /> HB 2165 2 Oppose Department of Transportation. 2/01 <br /> Deletes provisions allowing municipal corporations to request Secretary of State to develop or <br /> revise and install accounting systems. Modifies requirement that contracts for conducting <br /> municipal audits be provided to Secretary of State. Modifies language to conform with current <br /> HB 2166 3 Support usage. 2/11 <br /> HB 2173 3 Support Repeals Digital Signature Act. Repeals registry of international trade consultants. 3/09 <br /> Reduces blood alcohol content that constitutes being under influence of intoxicants to 0.05 <br /> percent for persons who, in 15 years prior to current offense, have participated in diversion <br /> HB 2183 3 Support program or have been convicted of driving while under influence of intoxicants. 2/11 <br /> Expands offense of driving while under influence of intoxicants to include any substance that <br /> adversely affects person's physical or mental faculties to noticeable or perceptible degree. Defines <br /> HB 2184 2 Support intoxicant. Takes effect July 1,2006. 2/11 <br /> Increases period of time person is ineligible to receive hardship permit if person refused to take <br /> breath or blood test and person previously had been charged with offense of driving while under <br /> HB 2185 3 Neutral influence of intoxicants. 2/11 <br /> Changes statutory deadline to submit application for retail fireworks sales permit. Replaces list of <br /> unregulated items with reference to items identified by rule. Deletes certain definitions identifying <br /> HB 2190 2 Support/Am characteristics of fireworks. Allows certain fireworks definitions to be supplemented by rule. 2/01 <br /> Modifies definition of 'transient lodging' for transient lodging tax purposes to include houses, <br /> cabins, condominiums, apartment units, tent spaces and other dwelling units that are used for <br /> temporary human occupancy. Exempts certain dwelling units from state transient lodging tax. <br /> Authorizes Department of Revenue to adopt rules. Applies to transient lodging tax reporting <br /> periods beginning on or after January 1,2006. Takes effect on 91 st day following adjournment <br /> HB 2197 2 Support sine die. 2/11 <br /> <br /> <br />
