The matter was discussed bu~ no action taken. r-- ~ '-~ The following resolution was offered and unanimously adopted: '""~ RESOLUTION FOR OPENING POLK STREET FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF" 12TH AVENUE TO THE SOUTH CITY LIMITS. RESOLVED: That the vommon Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, deems it expedient and necessary to open, layout and establish rOLK STREET FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF 12TH AVENUE TO THE SOUTH CITY LIMITS. and that the City Engineer be and is directed to make a survey of the same, to mark the boundaries thereof, to make a plat thereof, and make and file a written report containing a full and complete description of such street and its boundar- ies, and of the pDrtions of each lot, part of lot or tract of land to be appro- priated therefor. The following resolution was offered and unanimously adopted: RESOLUTION FOR OPENING TYLER STREET FROM 1TH AVENUE TO A PO IN 'II 63.2 FEET SOUTH OF 9 TH AVENUE. RESOLVED: That the Common Council of the City of .li:ugene, Oregon, deems it exped- ient and necessary to open, layout and establish TYLER STREET FROM ~TH AVEInJE TO A POINT 63.2 FEET SOUTH OF 9TH AVENUE. and that the City Engineer be and is directed to make a survey of the same, to mark the boundaries thereof, to make a plat thereof, and make and file a written report containing a full and complete description of such street and its bonndarie and of the portions of each lot, part of lot or tract of land tb'jbe appropriated therefor. The following resolution was offered and unanimously adopted: RESOLUTION Be it Hesolved by the ~ommon Gouncil of the City of Eugene that the City of Eugene improve the Amazon Slough from a point 240 feet West of Chambers street to a point 2500 feet North and west of the starting point, by widening and deepening the same. Be it Further Resolved that the City Engineer shall immediatedly prepare plan and specifications for sllch improvement work, and the City Hecorder advertise for competitive bids for such improvement work. Be it Further Resolved that the said work be done by the City and that the same be paid for from the Trunk Sewer Fund.
