D. Re corder ins tl"'UC ted to wi thhold s1,,-ch amOD..l1 t from paymen t due the VITa tel' Board. <br /> <br />The Finance Committee stated in the awarding of the Oil contracts the <br />last meeting, some of the uompany1s contracts were not read and stating that the <br />price of all companies dealing in gas being the same, recommended that the contract <br />be extended to in01ude all of such companies. On motion such report was adopted. <br /> <br />The, F'inance Committee ~Dresented the monthly bills, all of which having <br />been approved by the Finance Committee, recommended the same be paid. On roll <br />call such recommendation was adopted, which bills are herein set out. On motion such recommendation was approved. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Street Committee spOKe on the Question 01' paving Columbia Avenue <br />from 2Drd to ~4th Avenues, which street is not of full width, and recommended the <br />Ci ty Attorney proc'LLI'e from the :io'_.thern l'ac ific ftai:lvray Uompa11Y a right of way <br />for the same and that the Gity .l1;ngineer b,\:'J instructed to take steps to raise the <br />e;rade thereon. On motion such reco:llmendation was adopted. <br /> <br />The Stbeet Committee reported on the referred. matter of :paving 15th <br />Avenue from Agate street to Moss :street and recofI1llended that such Street bj3 :paved <br />with the consent of the University of Oregon from university Street to Agate <br />street.
