<br />THEREFOEE, Be it Resolved by the Common Council ae' the Ci ty of Eugene, tm,t
<br />the said lawsuIt be settled by allowing tiO said Alfred Olson $1500.00 damages,
<br />and waiv ing an~r claim for benefi t s, and tiha t th e said Alfred Olson be paid by the

<br />Upon suggestion o~ Councilman Hew.ershott that there was possiWlity or
<br />
<br />accident at thEI Aviation Field by reason of people wandering on the Field where
<br />planes were opelra.ting, and the City should fence off a spectator's gl"ound
<br />from the Field.. The matter was referred to the City Engineeb to report back
<br />plans' at the next me e ting of the C ounc i1.

<br />Bids fOl~ the purchase of the motor of the damages fire truck were received
<br />from the National Machinery Co., which off'ered $lG7.50, and from the Dayton Sand
<br />& Gravel Co., which offered $200.00. On motion, the bids were rejected.

<br />As per the call, bids were, received for the paving of Kincaid Street from
<br />loth Avenue to South line of Kincaid Addlt ion as follows:
