Brechtel against the Unitarian Church <br />Parsonage, in the sum of $20.20, was reported back by City Engineer Clubb as a <br />just bill, and one that sh ould be paid by the City, and on mot ion duly made an d <br />carried, it was ordered that said bill be paid. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A co~nunication from A. L. Bar bur , Commissioner of St~eets or the <br />City of Portland relating to the manner 01' handling black top paving bids in <br />said City, was read, and placed on 111e. <br /> <br />A communication from Mayor Baker of Portland to Mayor Wilder, <br />recommending the Portland Ordinance as a means of reducing radio interference, <br />was read and placed on fi le. <br /> <br />An Ordinance to provide for minimizing the r.adio inter1'erences, <br />providing a penalty, and declaring an emergency, was read, and Attorney E. O. <br />Immel addressed the Council as to the merits of the proposed Ordinance, after <br />which the Ordinance was referred to the Judiciary Committee. <br /> <br />A Resolution in the matter of the opening.or.18th Avenue from <br />Willamette Street to Oak Street, in the City of Eugene, On motion duly seconded <br />and carried, was adopted, as follows: <br /> <br />R.
