<br />A petition of the business houses along 13th Avenue from Alder Street'
<br />to Kincaid Street, that the Council place a one hour parking restriction on said
<br />street, was read.

<br />An Ordinance to amend Section 8 of Ordinance No. 7709, providing for a
<br />one hour parking limit on 13th Avenue East from Alder to Kincaid Streets, having
<br />been previously read, was read the seoond. time, and passed its third reading by
<br />title by unanimous consent under suspension ot: t;,he rule, and ,was placed on its
<br />final passage. The ayes and nays were called, all Councilmen voting aye, nay,none,
<br />absent Washburne and Monroe. The Ordinance was dealared passed and number 7989.

<br />Twelve Sidewalk Assessment Ordinanqeshaving been read the first time
<br />on December 22, 1930, and registered,notiaes for protests having been sent, are
<br />1 read the second time and objections called fo~. At this time Mr. Mike Dewey ap-
<br />peared before the Counci 1 to pro test the ordinanae asse ss ing$44 .42 agains't the
<br />I North 40 feet of Lot 12, Block 4, of Teshner's Addition, and $51.08 against Lot
<br />I 11, Block 4, Teshner's Addi tion, f"or the reason that he had purchased these lots
<br />I,ll subsequent to the construction of sidewalk and claims to have been advised by the
<br />, Oi ty Treasurer that there was nothing of reco~d as a Ii en against thi s prope rty.
<br />Ii Motion was made, seconded, and oarried that the objection be denied and overruled.
