Absent Edwards and Simon. <br /> An Ordinance to improve East Broadway from the center line of Willamette <br /> Street to the West line of E~lyard Street, by resurfacing the pavement by sur- <br /> I facing it with 1 inch of asphalt pavement, in the City of Etrgene, was read the <br /> first time and passed its second and third readings by ti tIe under suspension of <br /> the rule by the unanimous consent of the Council, and was placed upon its final <br /> passage. The ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting aye, six, nay':;nbne, <br /> absent Edwards and Simon.
