Gardiner, on behalf of a client, for Lots 6, ~~ <br />and 7, Block 5, Kincaid Park, was accepted by the Finance Committee and upon motionj. <br />made and duly seconded, the recommendation of the Committee was unanimously approved, <br />and the Treasurer's office herewith instructed to proceed with the execution of the <br />n~cessary papers in confirmation of the sale as directed by the general resolution <br />adopted by the Common Council on June 13, 1938, authorizing such action and it was <br />l~ s6 ordered. <br />I . . <br />I The Finance Commi ttee recommended the execution of 8. contract between the <br />,City of Eugene and Thomas F. Wauchope for redemption of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 20, <br />First Addition to City.. Lamb; Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, re- <br />commending the adoption of plan outlined by the Lane County Abstract Company relative <br />to furnishing title evidence on the property acquired by the City through lien fore- <br />119 c~osure sales, was upon ,motion made and "duly seconded, approved by the council. <br /> <br />. The 'Mayor and Recorder were authorized to execute a warrant in the amount <br />of $115.00 on behalf of Lane County Abstract Company for quieting title reports <br />20 issued with a lapse of 60 days or more before issuing the title insurance policies. <br />I ' " <br />.
