<br />The City Recorder presented the 1939 Financial Statement for the City of
<br />Eugene and the same was duly accepted and ordered placed on file.

<br />Mayor Large reported that the deeds relating to the exchange of property
<br />between School District #4 and the City of Eugene were prepared and ready for
<br />signatures on the following terms: $16,729.97 appraisal price for the city property
<br />and $16,179.00 appraisal price for the School district property, entailing a $550.97
<br />difference which the school district will pay to the city. The school board stated
<br />they would pay $300.00 cash with interest at 6% on unpaid balance until its date
<br />of payment on July 1, 1940. In addition thereto that the City of Eugene agrees to
<br />furnish the services of the City Attorney in the matter of a possible future quietin
<br />of' title for the property deeded to the school district by the City. How-eEer, the
<br />school board agrees to pay the costs involved in said quieting of title. Resolution
<br />was presented and adopted instructing the ~hyor and City Recorder to execute the dee
<br />upon the acceptance bf the School Board of these terms. (This supercedes all
<br />previous actions and statements regarding the above action) Legal descriptions,
