<br />~ <br />445 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL that <br />warrants No. 54111, 54112, 54369 and 54370 having been presented to <br />the Treasurer and have been registered for payment that these <br />warrants be considered the legal warrants for the transaction and <br />the former warrants issued to Elisha Large, Mayor for the Hurzeler <br />and Boqua properties be cancelled as though they had never been issued. <br /> <br />Resolution was presented giving exclusive right to the Eugene Pageant <br />Association for all concessions that may be granted during during July 24th, <br />~ 25th and 26th, at the time that the pageant is presented in the city. Motion <br />41 ,was made and seconded unanimously approving the adoption of the resolution. <br /> <br />~' <br />~ <br />~,. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />---------- <br /> <br />VfrrnREAS, the City of Eugene has established over a <br />period of years what is known as a pageant operated by the <br />. Eugene Pageant Association, a non-partisan association, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans are now under way for producing a pageant <br />in the City of Eugene during July 24, 25, and 26, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the pageant is more than ordinarily a civic <br />enterprise for the benefit, of the city and of all its people <br />and support must be given it in order that, it can be success- <br />fully presented, <br /> <br />Now, Therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br />Eugene that the Eugene Pageant Association be and they are <br />hereby given e xclusi ve rights to all concessions that may <br />be granted during July 24th, 25th and 26th, at the time that <br />the pageant is presented in the city. <br /> <br />I' <br /> <br />Resolution was presented authorizing the Mayor and City Recorder to execute <br />and deliver on behalf of the City of Eugene, a deed of conveyance for said Lot 2, <br />Block 4, Pearl Addition for the use of the Eugene Water Board. Motion was made <br />and seconded upanimously approving the adoption of the resolution. <br /> <br />42' <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />VlliEREAS, the Eugene Water Board is purchasing Lot 2 <br />of Block 4 Pearl Addition, to Eugene for their use as a substation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a computation has been made of the amount of <br />money necessary to reimburse the City for its investment <br />in said Lot 2, Block 4, Pearl Addition, at $200.00 <br /> <br />Therefore, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br />Eugene that the Mayor and Recorder be and they are hereby <br />directed to make, execute and deliver on behalf of the City <br />of Eugene, a deed of conveyance for said Lot 2, Block 4, <br />Pearl Addition, for the use of the Eugene Water Board, upon <br />payment by the Water Board of the sum of $200.00 to the <br />Lien Department. <br /> <br />Resolution was presented authorizing the Mayor and City Recorder to execute <br />a memorandum of agreement to be attached to the present contract between the City <br />of Eugene and Joseph Harrell, Manager of the Eugene Airport. Motion was made and <br />seconded unanimOUSly approving the adoption of the resolution. <br /> <br />43' <br /> <br />RESOLUTIQN <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />VffiEREAS, the City of Eugene has made an adjustment <br />of rentals with Joseph Harrell and Mamie Belle Zumwalt whereby <br />the lease on the City Airport shall continue at the rate of <br />$50.00 per month payable in advance, a copy of which amendment to <br />the lease is hereto attached. <br /> <br />Therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of Eugene <br />that the Mayor and City Recorder be and they are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the memorandum of agreement hereto attached. <br /> <br />At rhe request of the City Recorder, motion was made, seconded, and <br />~pproved that hereafter any and all fire districts shall furnish the City <br />Recorder with three blue-print maps showing clearly the boundaries of the <br /> <br />..... <br />
