WHEREAS~ Heretofore the Common Council has submitted to the Planning Commis~ion the matter of ,.-~,,~ '~, -.. : -~. the changing of' the zones for the following described area~ to-wit:" Block l~ Westmoreland Addition~ and the north half of Block 7 of Chambers Addition; and lots 7~ 8~ 9, ~d 10 of Block 6, Chambers Addition; and the territory immediately opposite north of it~ being 211 feet on 11th street and 300 feet on Chambers Street. from single family zone to a business distric~; and the Planning Commission has held a hearing adopting a tentative report and converted the same into a permanent and final report and re- submitted it to the Common Council with the recommendation that the same be enacted into an ordinance~ and the Council has prepared and given its first. reading of an ordinance enacting its permanent report. The following resolut~on was read and upon motion was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Cammon Council of the City of Eugene that there is hereby transmitted to the Planning Commission of the City of Eugene a proposal to change the classification of the East ,2.8 feet 0f lot 19 and the west 8176 feet of Lot 18~ Horn's addition to Eugene from a reside~tial zonO to a business district.
