All councilmen present <br />~'voting'AYE, the ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8881. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I' RESOLUTIONS <br />, <br /> <br />461 A resolution -- Re: Transfer of funds in payment for street opening <br />damages 8th Avenue West et al., was submitted and read as follows: <br /> <br />"WHEREAS the Common Council of the City of Eugene has authorized the <br />opening of 8th Avenue West from Chambers to Garfield Avenue and the alley between <br />:. 7th and 8th Streets from the West line of Hallock Addition to Garfield Street and, , <br />, I <br />, <br /> <br />.' , ViliEREAS, the proper City officials have been instructed to payout the <br />I. sum of $2,407.31 in connection with said street openings, this sum representing <br />. the amount of damages over benefits assessed in connection with said street open- <br />ings, ' <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br />l Eugene that the sum of $2,407.31 be transferred from the Sinking Fund for im- <br />;' provement bonds to the General Fund classification "Emergency Fund" and the proper <br />~ City officers be and are hereby directed to make such transfer." <br />I: <br />:It was moved by Koppe, seconded by Hawn that the resolution be held over for <br />,further consideration.
