<br />A request was received from Mr. & Mrs. V. A. Rutherford asking for a
<br />permit to erect a small frame building 8 feet by 16 feet at 1398 Willamette Street
<br />to beo used as an ice-cream and candy shop. Similar construction as by Giffoxd .and
<br />Welc~ and Cliff Culp. The applicant is a disabled Veteran of the First World War
<br />and is seeking this means of making his living. Xhe Board recommends that the
<br />request be granted for a period of two years.

<br />move the house from 1469 Willamette Street to tha rear'~f her lot at 1451 Wil-
<br />lamette, waiving the restrictions for Fire Zone #1. The Board recommends that
<br />the request be granted if the house is placed on a concrete foundation.

<br />erect a Butler Type metal building on the lot at the southea~t cornex of the
<br />intersection of Fifth Avenue and Lincoln Street, .to be as a ma intenance shop
<br />for their equipment garaged in this area. The Boprd is holding this request
<br />for further consideration.

<br />four foot set-back from Fairmount Blvd. near Walnut Street for the construction
<br />of a residence. The Board is holding this request for further consideration.' .

<br />set-back from Madison Street at the northwest corner of the intersection with
<br />Eighth Avenue, for an apartment project. The Board is holding this request for
