That the Common Council initiate proceedings for the vacation of <br />the alleyway between 7th and 8th Avenues West, extending from rilmore Street to <br />Almaden Street, provided and upon the condition that easements and rights of way <br />necessary for all public utilities can be reserved to the satisfaction of the <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />I 2. Wilcox re: <br />submitted and read. <br /> <br />opening of 17th Avenue, was <br /> <br />"In regard to the proposed opening -of Adams Street from 16th through to <br />, 18th Street: If the Council and planning commission regards this street as not <br />I! necessary for public use, and not valuable enough for city maintenance, it might <br />~ wish in its place, the opening of 17th St. from the East boundary of Englewood <br />~ Addition to the East boundary line of Friendly St.- if produced, and, also, <br />I: Friendly $t. from the nor.th line of 18th to the south boundary line of the Lane <br />I' County Fa ir Grounds ~ <br />ij <br /> <br />I would be willing to dedicate these streets to the city for public use <br />in the event that the ~I'oposed Adams St. from 16th through to 18th st. is not <br />passed by the City Council. I would, however, like to reserve the right to use <br />this property up until such time as the City of Eugene sees fit to improve it.
