<br /> "Mayor Earl L. McNutt reported that a Special City EJection having been held, !~
<br /> known,as the ,Inavale-City Outlook Annexation Election, on October 7, 1947, and the
<br /> Statutes of Oregon having provided that the Common Council should meet on Monday
<br /> next succeeding the day of such election at 1 o'clock P.M., ~nd proceed to canvass
<br /> the votes cast at said election, al1d a proposed,meeting of such Council was ordered
<br /> but no quorum of the Council could be obtained at said hour or at any hour until ,.
<br /> the hour of 7:g0 P.M., on October 14, 1947 and that the Common Council acting as ':
<br /> the legislative body of the. City of Eugene, pursuant to Section 9-901, O.C.L.A. ,
<br /> should nQw proceed to canvass the votes cast at such election: I
