(IT IS <br />RECOMMENDED THAT SIDEWALKS ALSO BE INSTALLED FOR PEDESTRIAN <br />SAFETY) IN RECOMMENDING THAT THIS PROJECT BE APPROVED FOR <br />THIS S~MMER'~ WORK, IT WAS BROUG~T OUT THAT PART OF T~E <br />STORM SEWER EXPENSE OF $15,000 COULD BE PAID FROM THE <br />5-MILL SEWER LEVY WHICH WOULD LEAVE APPROXIMATELY <br />$5,000 FOR THE ACQUI SI TI ON OF OPTIONS ON WEST 18-TH AVE. <br />8. PAVING A~LEY BETWEEN 6TH & 7TH FROM BLAIR TO VAN BUREN. <br />9. PAVING WALNUT FROM FRANKLIN TO FAIRMOUNT BOULEVARD <br />WI-TH THE SPECIFI,C RECOMMENDATION THAT THIS STREET BE <br />PAVED ro A WI DTH OF 36-FEET -UNLESS THE HI GHWAY DEPARTMENT <br />WILL AGREE TO PAY FOR THE ADDITIONAL 3-FEET OF WIDTH FOR <br />A 42-FOOT PAVEMENT BETWEEN FRANKLIN BLVD. AND 15TH AVENUE <br />DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE STATE OPERATIONS IN THIS BLOCK. <br />10.
