HE TOLD THE COMMITTEE THAT THE <br />CIVIL AERONAUTICS ADMI~IS~RATION HAD DESIGNATED EUGENi AS A JET ,REFUELING STATION <br />,AND THAT IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO HAVE FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE. <br />THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED THAT NEGOTIATIONS BE ENTERED INTO WITH WEST COAST <br />AIRLINES WHICH WOULD RESULT IN A LEASE IN WHICH THE CITY WOULD RECEIVE COMPENSA- <br />TION FROM THE SALE OF JET FUEL. <br /> <br />8.
