Bethel-Danebo Sewer Bonds <br />The City Manager st?ted that it will be necessary to authorize bonds <br />to finance construction of sewers in the rec~ntly-annexed Bebhel~ <br />pane~o-area 'and to finance e~pa~sion of the sewage treatment plant. <br />The amount of bonds necessary would be $4,200,900.00, .of which $809,000.00 <br />would finance the sewage treatment plant expansion necessary t~ serve the <br />Eugene Fruit'Growers and to meet recently-adopted standards of the,State <br />Sanitary Au~hority. <br /> <br />The'CityManager also pointed out that 'an additional $2,250,000.00' <br />would be required to finance construction of sewers within the drain- <br />age area covered by the Cornell, Howland, Hayes, and Merryfield sewer <br />study report, and that it may be desirab~e to authorize i~suanc~ of <br />bonds now so that when these areas come into the City and~desire service <br />sewers could be constructed immedi?~ely. <br />, ' , <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~. .. . - - . <br />Mrs'.
