<br /> Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson to reject bids on paving and sanitary sewer
<br /> in Lots 6 and 7, Block 6, . Sunny Hollow,Additian; paving and sewers in Hendricks Vista
<br /> Addition (no bids received); and paving and sewers in Deerfield Addition. Rollcall
<br /> vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried.
<br /> 1 With regard to the bids on the paving of Willakenzie Road; the:Assistant City Manager
<br /> presented a m?-p showing park land proposed for exchange with:Schoal District No: 4 to
<br /> allow relocation of the road to the west of its present location. Mr. Jack Miller, I
<br /> representing the developer of the adjacent:area, stated he thought relocation of the
<br /> road would pro~ide for better traffic movement:and fewer parking problems. :The Acting
<br /> Director o.f Park.s and Recre,ation :stated he would prefer to study the prQPosed ,exchange
<br /> before making a reconunendation since park area had been planned for a picnic site.
<br /> Mrs. Lauris moved seco~~ed by Dr. Purdy to award the contract to the low bidder on the
<br /> project. .
<br /> Mr. Swanson moved seconded by Mr. Hawk.to:a~end the motion to provide for paving the e
<br /> road in two sections, the first section from Coburg Road to Sheldon High School drive-
<br /> way' to be completed now, the second section:from Sheldon ~igh School to Cal.Young.
