<br />Hazlitt requested p~rmission to disp!=nse with construction of si?ewalk on Kervon
<br />Court as required by ordinance. The Planning Commission recommended denial. The
<br />Council t~:JOk no action, wishing to view the location.

<br />3. Storm Sewer 10th Addition Edgewood, Breeden - James Pearson, attorney for Br~edenBros.,
<br />had proposed an agreement between Breederis ~nd ,the CJty for 'construction of storm
<br />sewers in 10th Addition to Edgewood Estates. Breeden Bros. had proposed to pay
<br />$15,000 to the City upon' compietion of storm- s'ewer' co"nst'ruction, and that t'he'y not
<br />be held as est'ablishirig a precedent of contribution by the P?y~entof the $15-,009.
<br />Also, that the Public Works Department complete the engineering details and let
<br />bids, for' completion of all, improvements for the remainder of 10th Addition., It was
<br />also"suiiested' that prev{ous storm sewer ass'essment ordinances ~ffecting th~ 10th
<br />Addition passed in 1965 be canceled. It was re~o~mended t'hat the proposals' be
<br />accepted with the exception of ,cancellation of storm s,ewer assessments.: Mr. Chatt
<br />moved seconded by Mr. Anderson .to approve the' recommendation. Motion .carried.

<br />4. Eugene Development ~gency" Off-Stre'et' Parking' ,- The, Eugene Development Agency in-
<br />dicated that members of that Agency had d-iscussed'acquiring additional land for off-
<br />street parking in the redevelopment area of downt.own Eug~ne and that certain prop-
<br />ertias might be available for use as off~street parking locations. The Eugene
<br />Development Agency re'co~ended the ,Council' take action t,o investigate, thi.s proposal.'

<br />5. TV Transmitter, School District 4 - A letter was read from Millard Pond, superintende~t-
<br />clerk of School District 4, seeking preliminary approval of installation of a television
<br />antenna and broadcast room on Skinners Butte for the use of District 4 educational .
<br />television. Mr. ~ Chatt' 'moved seconded by Mr.' Anderson to give' 'tentative 'appro'va'l to
<br />the request so th~t further inv,est-igation could be made by Dist'rict 4. Motion carried,
