Mr. Gaskill was present and compared estimated costs <br />published prior to annexation with actual cost. The 'error in the publication was explained. Mr. Gas- <br />kill questioned assessments on property in the assessment area owned by Mayor Cone. Councilman Lassen <br />said at the present time there is no access to the Mayor's property. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15050. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8221 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in WS-67-3 (area in Pioneer Corners <br />Subdivision, Westers Addition, and 'between Tomahawk Place Subdivision, Coburg Road, Pioneer Pike, and <br />Pioneer Court), submitted and read the first time in full on November 27, 1967 and held over to this <br />meeting to allow proper .notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought <br />back for consideration with one written protest from Carl Hintz, 2460 Pioneer Pike. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mr. McNutt .that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. <br /> <br />The letter from Mr. Hintz was read objecting to the assessment against the entire lot rather than to a <br />depth of 160 feet in view of the easement the Hintz's granted the City for the sewer. <br /> <br />The City Manager reviewed the history of the assessment against the Hintz property and said the property <br />is large enough to accommodate another building lot.
