Mahlon Sweet Fteld - The Airport Commission recommended establishment of <br />paid and controlled auto parking at Mahlon.Sweet Field, either through negotiation ofa <br />contract with ,a professional parking firm or by the City. Items recommended by the :Conimission <br />for specific consideration in negotiation of a contract were establishment of a schedule of <br />charges, improvement.sto 'be made by parking firm, ,a short -term lease. ,(three to five years if <br />practical), provision of parking facilities for employes,< air. freight customers, and fixed <br />base operators, validation program for restaurant customers, maintenance of parking areas, and <br />schedule of cash payments to the City. The City Manager reviewed a letter submitted by:Norman Jacobson, <br />Consulting Engineer, relative to the need for a real estate appraiser experienced in use <br />analysis for retail shops. Curb Sidewalk Location. West side of Jackson between 27th and 28th - 88.2% petition. Lvle (S-68E) -Mr. Crawford Lyle <br />requested segregation of assessment against his property 'on Potter Street b~tween 36th and <br />37th in the amount of $526..31, 'leavi:ng a balance of $286.99. The amount to be segregated <br />plus interest has been paid, and the Finance Department recommended approval oftne <br />segregation. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to approve the segregation.
