351" . 8/26/68 ORDINANCES . 1 Council Bill No. 8581 - Levying assessments for sidewalk on 18th Avenue from City View Street to Bailey Hill Road, submitted and read the first time in full on July 22, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, was brought back for consideration with one written protest on file. A letter was read from Thwing, Ather1y and Butler, attorneys for Mrs. Maxine Bierly, objecting to assessment against property listed in the name of Mickey R. Gulick (Item 10). The objection was raised because of an error in front footage on which calculations were based. The Public Works Di- rector explained the error and recommended the council bill be held to allow correction of Item 10 and of Item 9 - Hannah E. Hawkins property. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to hold the council bill as recommended. Motion carried. 2 Council Bill No. 8582 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer between 10th and 11th Avenues from McKinley Street to east, submitted and read the first time in full on July 22, 1968 and held over to . this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected property, was brought back for consideration, with no written protests on file. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. .
