These are that <br /> the Community Health Council will (1) modify its present organizational structure to <br /> meet the requirements of the Comprehensive Health Planning Act for eligible applicants; <br /> (2) establish a full-time position of director and such other necessary professional <br /> positions; (3) prepare a program proposal which will result in /a/ recommendations for <br /> I, establishment of a permanent area-wide health planning council and its service area, <br /> : /b/ identification of major health planning activities necessary to meet the needs of <br /> the area and Federal program requirements; /c/ recommendations for organizational <br /> structure of the permanent health planning agency, /d/ recommendations for finance <br /> plan, /e/ recommendations for co-ordinating health planning with other planning .' <br /> activities of state and local agencies, {ncluding sharing of data and staff; and <br /> (4) clearly delineate obligations expected of local governmental units if the Community <br /> " Health Council is designated as the area-wide agency, including /a/ financing of the <br /> II health ~lanning agency and program and /b! representation on _the policy making board <br /> involving local government in health program implementation. . <br /> " Councilman Anderson explained that if the Health Council is designated as the health <br /> planning agency, they will be~anning health facilities and hospitals for the entire , <br /> area involving Federal, State, and local funds, and the Central Lane Planning Council <br /> " felt more detailed information should be made available before endorsement is given. <br /> " <br /> He said CLPC would have to give its endorsement if funds are to be requested. A copy <br /> of the CLPC action was sent to the Health Council.
