" I Ov~rpark, Management Contract - When Di,a~ndcparking contracted for management of the Overpark, the, contract provided that the City pay the'ircosts and they provide service <5f operation. The City would pay a percentage for overhead, with detailed monthly billings reviewed by the -Finance_Department. Diamond received a management fee of $1.00 per month. They have operated since August 19.69, and have done a cred.~iable job. At that time the City indicated it would provide a management profit to them, and they have now suggested $250.00 per month as a proper amount. This has been reviewed by the Traffic Engineer, Finance Director and City Manager, and it is felt that this is a reasonable amount. Staff would like authorization to proceed with the contract on this basis. Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr to accept the staff recommendation to amend the contract with Diamond Parking. Mayor Anderson asked for a review of ,income and expenses of the Overpark. City Manager said these can be provided at a committee meeting. Mr. McDonald moved that this action be tabled until budget proceedings. No.second. Motion died. Rollcall vote taken. All councilmen except Mr. McDonald voting aye, the motion carried. Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
