Diamond received a management fee of $1.00 per month. They have operated <br />since August 19.69, and have done a cred.~iable job. At that time the City indicated it would <br />provide a management profit to them, and they have now suggested $250.00 per month as a <br />proper amount. This has been reviewed by the Traffic Engineer, Finance Director and City <br />Manager, and it is felt that this is a reasonable amount. Staff would like authorization <br />to proceed with the contract on this basis. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr to accept the staff recommendation to amend the <br />contract with Diamond Parking. <br /> <br />Mayor Anderson asked for a review of ,income and expenses of the Overpark. City Manager <br />said these can be provided at a committee meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved that this action be tabled until budget proceedings. No.second. Motion died. <br /> <br />Rollcall vote taken. All councilmen except Mr. McDonald voting aye, the motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />'. _C~0NCIL_ BILL NO. 9346 - Levying assessments for paving , sanitary and storm sewers within <br />2nd Addii:ion -to' EdgeJ{ood west was submitted and read in full the first time on January 25, 1971, <br />held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected <br />properties, and is:brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by ~ counc:i.l' FiJ:l number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16148. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9347 - Levymgg assessments for paving Quaker Street from 14th Avenue <br />to 15th Avenue was submitted and read in full the first time on January 25,1971, held over to this <br />meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given ownerS of affected properties, and is <br />brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16149. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9348 - Levying assessments for pavinggCheshire Avenue from High Street <br />to 500 feet wast was submitted and read in full the first time on January 25, 1971, held over to <br />this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and is <br />brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr., Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16150. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9349- Levying assessments for storm sewer between 1st and 2nd Addition <br />to Valley West from Westleigh Street to Kevington Street was submitted and read in full the first <br />time on January 25, 1971 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be <br />given owners of affected properties, and is brought back for consideration with no written protests <br />on file. <br /> <br />Mr., Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote.
