2005 Legislative Session IGR Commitee Bill Approval May 23, 2005 <br /> <br /> Requires Department of Human Services to provide continuing education curriculum for child <br /> abuse investigators on constitutional and statutory rights of children and families undergoing <br /> investigation. Requires child abuse investigators at time of initial contact with individual under <br /> SB 0895 3 Oppose investigation to inform individual about allegations made against individual. 4/14 <br /> Requires Department of Human Services to provide continuing education curriculum for child <br /> abuse investigators on constitutional and statutory rights of children and families undergoing <br /> investigation. Requires child abuse investigators at time of initial contact with individual under <br /> SB 0895A 3 Neutral investigation to inform individual about allegations made against individual. 5/12 <br /> Provides tax credit for employers engaged in or preparing to engage in manufacture of water <br /> SB 0896 3 Oppose transit vessels. Applies to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2006. 3/17 <br /> Requires person filing voters' pamphlet argument to submit signed affidavit stating whether <br /> argument is intended to support or oppose measure. Specifies when affidavit is considered <br /> SB 0898 3 Neutral false. 4/28 <br /> Creates crime of dumping methamphetamine waste. Punishes by maximum of 20 years' <br /> SB 0911 3 Support imprisonment, $375,000 fine, or both. 3/17 <br /> Requires filing of not less than 10 percent and not more than 15 percent of total number of <br /> signatures required on state initiative petition to obtain ballot title. Specifies duties of Secretary <br /> of State, Attorney General and chief petitioner relating to ballot title and form of petition. <br /> Defines constitutional procedural requirement. Requires Secretary of State to determine <br /> compliance with constitutional procedural requirements. Prohibits circulation of state initiative <br /> measure if initiative measure fails to comply with constitutional procedural requirements. <br /> Applies to state initiative petitions for which prospective petition is filed on or after effective date <br /> SB 0933 3 Monitor of Act. Declares emergency, effective on passage. 5/12 <br /> Provides exception for bicycles for offense of unsafe passing on right. Modifies prohibited <br /> bicycle speed for purposes of offense of unsafe operation of bicycle on sidewalk. Provides <br /> SB 0938 3 Support/Am exception for offense of failure to use bicycle lane or path. 3/17 <br /> Provides exception for bicycles for offense of unsafe passing on right. Modifies prohibited <br /> bicycle speed for purposes of offense of unsafe operation of bicycle on sidewalk. Provides <br /> SB 0938A 3 Support/Am exception for offense of failure to use bicycle lane or path. 5/05 <br /> Creates crime of unlawful storage of firearm. Punishes by maximum of one year's <br /> imprisonment, $6,250 fine, or both. Punishes second and subsequent convictions by maximum <br /> of five years' imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both. Prohibits sale, delivery or transfer of firearm <br /> to person convicted of unlawful storage of firearm for five-year period after conviction.
