Establishes reporting and registration requirements and <br /> enhanced penalties for persons who use abusive tax avoidance transactions, or who serve as <br /> material advisors for certain transactions. Extends period for which notice of deficiency may be <br /> issued in cases in which returns reflect use of abusive tax avoidance transactions. Takes effect <br /> HB 2486 3 Support on 91st day following adjournment sine die. 3/09 <br /> Changes date of primary election from third Tuesday in May to third Tuesday in September in <br /> even-numbered years. Retains presidential preference primary election in May. Modifies period <br /> for filing and conducting election contests, recounts and actions for false campaign statements <br /> following primary election. Directs Secretary of State to print single September voters' <br /> pamphlet. Takes effect on 91 st day <br /> HB 2516 3 Support following adjournment sine die. 3/17 <br /> Specifies that public lands used for wildlife management purposes must be accessible for <br /> hunting. Requires State Fish and Wildlife Commission to avoid making management <br /> determinations that result in net loss of public lands used for wildlife management purposes <br /> that are open to hunting. Directs State Fish and Wildlife Director to report to Legislative <br /> HB 2529 3 Oppose Assembly on acreage of public lands accessible for hunting. 3/09 <br /> Allows personal income taxpayers to subtract amounts paid as personal interest from taxable <br /> HB 2530 3 Oppose income.
