Project Management <br />A project manager is assigned to each Federally-funded project. The project manager <br />reviews a project for compliance throughout the implementation of the project. The <br />project contract includes a scope of work, timeline, and budget which clearly defines the <br />project. <br /> <br />Timeliness <br />The Cities of Eugene and Springfield monitor expenditures throughout the fiscal year <br />and maintain projections in order to ensure the timely expenditure of funds. By mid- <br />year, if it is apparent that expenditures are lagging, ready-to-go projects are identified <br />and reprogramming the funds is recommended. <br /> <br /> <br />
