READING OF PROCLAMATION CONCERNING ELECTION OF MARCH 26, 1985 <br /> <br />~ Mayor Obie read the following proclamation: <br /> <br />liThe City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, and I, have canvassed <br />the election returns for said special election of March 26, 1985, <br />conducted by the Lane County Election Department and the abstract shows <br />the results of the City election as follows: <br /> <br />TOTAL VOTE YES FOR MEASURE NO. 51, <br />AUTHORIZES CITY AGREEMENTS TO <br />FACILITATE 6TH/7TH AVENUES WIDENING <br />AND LANDSCAPING <br /> <br />TOTAL VOTE NO AGAINST MEASURE NO. 51, <br /> <br />14,444 <br /> <br />6,574 <br /> <br />TOTAL VOTE YES FOR MEASURE NO. 52, <br />AUTHORIZING DOWNTOWN FREE PARKING <br />DISTRICT TAX <br /> <br />TOTAL VOTE NO AGAINST MEASURE NO. 52 <br /> <br />13,907 <br />5,924 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />I hereby proclaim and declare as follows: <br /> <br />That Measure No. 51, Authorizes City Agreements to Facilitate 6th/7th <br />Avenues Widening and Landscaping, as passed. <br /> <br />That Measure No. 52, Authorizing Downtown Free Parking District Tax, was <br />passed.
