The City is continuing to explore other <br /> ways to assist the Maude Kerns Art Center in their operation. <br /> At this time staff are not recommending that any special attention <br /> be given to the Maude Kerns Art Center in the i1aster Plan. <br /> Current actions will continue to be guided by the goals and <br /> policies of the Culture/Leisure Plan. <br /> 3. Concerning the Culture/Leisure Plan: It was adopted with minor <br /> changes which affect the proposed additions to the Parks Master <br /> Plan. Referring to item 3c in the August 6, 1985 memo to you) <br /> the first and third paragraphs (policies) should be replaced with <br /> the following: <br /> Recognize that there is a minimum mix of arts, sports and leisure <br /> resources that is essential to the success of Euqene's Economic <br /> and Diversification Proqram. (Policy 5) <br /> Identify the need for and facilitate development of sports, e <br /> leisure and arts resources new to the community. (Policy 10) <br /> - <br />
