Les Lyle, Public <br /> Works Department, was available to answer questions. <br /> CB 4247--An ordinance requesting that jurisdiction over <br /> portions of Lane County roads be transferred to the <br /> City of Eugene; and declaring an emergency. <br /> Answering questions, Mr. Lyle explained that the transfer is a condition of <br /> the Urban Transition Agreement, and a recent renegotiation of that agreement <br /> provides additional funds for this type of situation. <br /> e Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the bill, with <br /> unanimous consent of the council, be read the second time by <br /> council bill number only, and that enactment be considered at <br /> this time.
