<br />Mr. Murray said that every part of the city has adequate commercial property to <br />accommodate lots and many problems occur with lots in certain residential <br />neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Vote was taken on the motion to refer,which carried, all present voting <br />aye except Mr. Murray voting no. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />I. Appointments to 1990 UPdate Policy Cornnuttee - It w~s noted that the Planning <br />Commission representative to the Policy Committee will be Alan Maxwell. It <br />was felt best to select a Council representative when all Council members <br />are in attendance. <br /> <br />It was understood Council member seleation would be made at the <br />March 31 Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Appointment to Plan Update POlicy Co~ttee - Council members interested <br />'in serving as representative to this committee were to contact Councilman <br />Keller. Mr. Williams and Bradley both expressed interest, and Mr. Keller <br />recommended appointment of Mr. Williams. <br /> <br />Corom <br />3/24/76 <br />Approve <br /> <br />Mr. Hamel llDved seconded by Mr. Haws to appoint Mr. Williams to <br />the committee with Mr. Bradley to serve as alternate. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved second by Mr. Bradley to table Item I until the <br />April 14 committee-of-the-whole meeting. Improvement Petitions <br />Paving - Whitbeck Blvd. from Lorane Highway to 1000 feet west. 66.6% of <br />assessable front footage on petition. <br /> <br />tt, <br /> <br />paving, sanitary sewer and storm sewer within Souza Park 1st addition - 100% <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer on Seneca Road from Roosevelt Boulevard to the north approximately <br />600 feet - 79.7% of assessable square footage on petition. <br /> <br />Paving, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer within 11th addition to Nob Hill - 100% <br /> <br />None of the peti tions invol ves ci ty costs. Under Item C, Mr. Williams recei ved <br />a telephone call regarding concern about street improvement on Seneca. Public <br />Works Director noted that improvement project was initiated by Council last <br />December. Paving will be deferred at this time, however, due to difficulty with <br />right-of-way acquisi tion. He noted it will not be costlier to do the sewer and <br />paving projects separately. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws llDved seconded by Mr. Williams to approve the petitions. <br />Motion carried unanillDusly. <br /> <br />Conun <br />3/31/76 <br />Approve <br /> <br />Improvement Petition - Sanitary Sewer on 25th Avenue from approximately 650 feet <br />east of Cleveland Street to 320 feet east (a portion of 2nd addition to Leach <br />Subdivision) - 77.57% assessable area on petition.
