Introduction--Human Rights Specialist--Manager introduced <br /> Paul A. (Andy) Clement, Human Rights Specialist who will be <br /> working in the City Manager's office. File <br /> J. Joint Meeting with Springfield, Eugene, and Lane County-- <br /> Manager announced a joint meeting of Springfield, Eugene, <br /> and Lane County on November 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Thunderbird <br /> regarding a presentation of regional sewer alternatives by the <br />e Metropolitan Sewer Advisory Committee. Affirm --' <br /> K. League of Oregon Cities Arrangements--Manager announced <br /> that the City Manager's van would pick up those persons <br /> needing transportation to the League meeting Sunday, November <br /> 14. He also noted that the Eugene delegation would meet Sunday <br /> evening for dinner at 8:00 p.m. at Ford's Restaurant in Portland. File <br /> L. "No Through Trucks" Proposal for Roosevelt, Elmira and Royal-- <br /> Manager noted that staff is having difficulty in defining alter- <br /> natives and wishes to postpone the public hearing, scheduled <br /> for November 22, until January 24. <br /> Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to postpone <br /> the public hearing until January 24. Motion carried Approve <br /> unanimously. <br />II. Liquor License--Change of Ownership <br /> 17th and Lincoln Market, 295 w. 17th Avenue (PS) Jack and Anna Mueller <br /> Manager reported staff investigation revealed no objections <br /> to the change.
