Minutes of those meetings <br />appear below in smaller type. <br />February 16, 1977: <br /> <br />I. Items from Mayor and Council <br />A. LCOG Request--Eric Haws distributed a memorandum to Council <br />members on the subject of compensation to LCOG board chairman <br />for income lost while representing the agency. He indicated <br />he would like Council to review the memorandum and discuss <br />at next week's Committee-of-the-Whole meeting. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Council Members' Agenda--Ms. Smith will be out of town March <br />10-22; Mayor Keller will be out of town March 16-31; and Mr. <br />Obie will be out of town March 18-30. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />19~0 Update Summary--Mr. Bradley said Council wil1 be rece1v1ng <br />packets this week with a summary report of the 1990 Update Plan. <br /> <br />D. Tri-Agency Dog Control--Mr. Bradley indicated the Tri-Agency <br />Committee had been meeting in public hearings with some of <br />the smaller cities in the surrounding area in an attempt to <br />contract for dog services. A meeting will be held at Harris <br />HaIl at 7:30 p.m. on February 22, 1977. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />E. Gut Committee--Mr. Bradley reminded Council members the Gut <br />Committee will be meeting February 17 at 7:30 p.m. 1n an <br />attempt to solve the problem on Willamette Street. <br /> <br />F. Court of Appeals--Mr. Brad ley brought up the issue of a Court <br />of Appeals recent land-use case in Washington County and asked <br />staff to make a report back to Council on the decision which <br />'was made in this case. <br /> <br />G. Community School Coordinating Committee--Mr. Lieuallen said <br />that he had attended a meeting a week ago with this committee <br />and there was no need for any future action to be taken re- <br />garding this committee at the moment. <br /> <br />H. Liquor License Approval--Mr. Lieuallen said he noted in a <br />newspaper article recently where a restaurant on 7th Avenue, <br />La Primavera, had been approved for a beer and wine liquor <br />license. He said, however, just around the corner there is <br />a restaurant named Rib Shack which had come before the Council <br />for approval of a liquor license and had been denied.
