Adoption of Resolution 5214 Acknowledging Receipt of City of Eugene, Comprehensive <br />Annual Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2017 <br />Councilor Semple asked to pull Item G from the Consent Calendar. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to approve <br />the items on the Consent Calendar minus Item G. PASSED 7:0. <br />Council Discussion <br />• An Ordinance in 2005 established the sale of the land for the pump station and City Council <br />would have to re -consider the IGR agreement to make any changes for the sale. <br />• Land in question not developable; currently contains sewage facilities. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to approve <br />Item G. PASSED 7:0. <br />4. ACTION: Proposed Modifications to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management <br />Commission Intergovernmental Agreement <br />Council Discussion <br />• May be setting a bad precedent to begin accepting some small waste now. <br />• MWMC would have discretion about whether to accept waste. <br />• Current design capacity is 277 million gallons a day at peak; the current average is 30-35 <br />million gallons a day. <br />• Questions asked about impact on water temperature and DEQ permits. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to approve <br />the amendment of the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission <br />Intergovernmental Agreement. PASSED 7:0. <br />The Mayor adjourned the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convened a meeting of the Eugene <br />Urban Renewal Agency. <br />5. URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY ACTION: Adoption of Resolution 1084 Acknowledging Receipt <br />of the Annual Financial Report of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene for the <br />Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2017 <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Zelenka, seconded by Councilor Clark, moved to adopt <br />Resolution 1084 acknowledging receipt of the Annual Financial Report for the Urban <br />Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017.
