2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Makes pesticide use reporting system permanent. Increases registration fee for <br /> ~esticides. Requires State Department of Agriculture to expend portion of registration <br /> fees for purposes of implementing, administering and enforcing pesticide use <br /> reporting system. Changes date for commencing publication of annual report of <br /> SB 0290 3 Support 3esticide use. 1/25 <br /> Allows removal of recyclable material from solid waste disposal receptacles under <br /> SB 0291 3 Oppose certain circumstances. 1/25 <br /> Allows person to turn without using signal when person is turning in required <br /> SB 0296 3 Oppose direction from lane that requires person to make turn. 2/17 <br /> Requires that Public Utility Commission issue amended certificate of authority to <br /> cooperative corporation or unincorporated association providing intrastate <br /> telecommunications services upon submission of revised service area map showing <br /> SB 0309 3 Oppose additional areas to be served by corporation or association. 1/25 <br /> Directs Department of Revenue to enter into multistate agreement to streamline <br /> administration of sales and use taxes imposed by other states. Takes effect on 91st <br /> SB 0315 3 Monitor day following adjournment sine die. 3/31 <br /> Prohibits carrying animal on external part of vehicle except under specified <br /> SB 0317 3 Support circumstances. Punishes by maximum fine of $90. 2/17 <br /> Removes exception requiring confidentiality under certain conditions for terms of <br /> settlement or compromise of action involving public body and terms of mediation <br /> agreement involving public body. { + Allows public body to enter into settlement or <br /> compromise that requires terms or conditions to be confidential if federal law requires <br /> confidentiality. Allows court to order that terms or conditions of settlement or <br /> compromise be confidential if court finds, in writing, that specific privacy interests of <br /> victim of sexual abuse or person under 18 outweigh public's interest in terms or <br /> SB 0324A 3 Neutral conditions. + } 5/26 <br /> Establishes tax credit for employer that pays all or part of community college tuition <br /> of employee. Limits total amount of credit. Applies to tax years beginning on or after <br /> SB 0325 3 Support January 1, 2007, and before January 1,2011. 2/17 <br /> Permits court reporter employed by party to charge transcript fees as agreed to <br /> between reporter and { - party employing reporter - } { + all parties to proceeding + } <br /> for preparing transcripts on appeal. Limits fees reporter may charge public body for <br /> SB 0330A 3 Support preparing transcripts on appeal. 5/05 <br /> Allows school district boards to prohibit persons with concealed handgun licenses <br /> from carrying firearms on school property.
