2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Increases corporate minimum taxes applicable to C corporations and S <br /> corporations. Applies to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2005. Takes effect <br /> HB 2625 2 Support on 91st day following adjournment sine die. 4~07 <br /> Allows county or city to adopt instant runoff voting system for nomination or election <br /> HB 2638 2 Support/Am of candidates to county or city office. 4/07 <br /> Requires local governments to adopt regulations to zone certain forestland and <br /> exclusive farm use land as secondary land. Provides exceptions. Requires local <br /> governments to adopt zoning ordinances for secondary land that are consistent with <br /> land use planning goals relating to urbanization. Provides that single family dwelling <br /> may be established on secondary land with specified exceptions. Sets schedule for <br /> amendment of state and local goals, rules and plans. Provides that single family <br /> dwellings are allowed on land that meets statutory criteria prior to amendment of state <br /> and local goals, rules and plans. Provides that all existing state and local goals, rules <br /> and plans not consistent with statute have no legal effect as of effective date of <br /> statute. Provides that land zoned secondary land retains certain special tax <br /> HB 2643 2 Oppose assessment provisions in specified instances. Makes related changes. 4/07 <br /> Overhauls statewide land use planning process. Directs Land Conservation and <br /> Development Commission to adopt new statewide land use planning goals. Directs <br /> local governments to amend or replace regional goals and objectives, regional <br /> framework plans, comprehensive plans and land use regulations to conform to new <br /> HB 2652 2 Oppose statewide land use planning goals. 3/31 <br /> Requires participation in driving while under influence of intoxicants diversion <br /> HB 2654 2 Support program to be counted toward felony driving while under influence of intoxicants. 4/07 <br /> Requires participation in driving while under influence of intoxicants diversion <br /> HB 2654A 2 Support program to be counted toward felony driving while under influence of intoxicants. 5/12 <br /> Establishes colors.for police lights, tow vehicle warning lights and warning lights on <br /> vehicles involved with hazardous materials.
