2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Expands crime of unlawful distribution of ephedrine, pseudoephedrine or <br /> 3henylpropanolamine by requiring record of sale or transfer. Provides exception for <br /> SB 0313 2 Support 3roducts sold in certain form. 2/17 <br /> Removes exception requiring confidentiality under certain conditions for terms of <br /> settlement or compromise of action involving public body and terms of mediation <br /> SB 0324 2 Oppose agreement involving public body. 2/17 <br /> Directs Environmental Quality Commission to adopt regulations implementing <br /> SB 0344 2 Support California motor vehicle emission standards beginning with 2009 model year. 2/17 <br /> Postpones, for certain claims for just compensation arising from land use regulation, <br /> dates on which property owner becomes eligible to receive compensation and to file <br /> cause of action in circuit court for compensation. Postpones date of accrual for <br /> SB 0350 2 Oppose certain claims for just compensation. Declares emergency, effective on passage. 3/09 <br /> Expands coverage of intimidation laws to include crimes against persons based on <br /> SB 0360 2 Support gender identity. 3/09 <br /> Establishes mandatory minimum sentences for unlawful manufacture or delivery of <br /> SB 0375 2 Support methamphetamine and for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. 2/17 <br /> Increases penalty for unlawful possession or distribution of methamphetamine <br /> precursors. Punishes by maximum of ~ years' imprisonment, $ fine, or <br /> both. Creates crime of unlawful possession of methyl sulfonyl methane. Punishes by <br /> maximum __ imprisonment, $~ fine, or both. Increases penalty for failure to <br /> make or retain record of sale or transfer of methyl sulfonyl methane. Punishes by <br /> SB 0376 2 Support maximum imprisonment, $ fine, or both. 2/17 <br /> Directs Department of Justice to make grants to counties for purpose of prosecuting <br /> crimes involving possession, manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine. <br /> SB 0379 2 Neutral Appropriates moneys from General Fund to Department of Justice. 3/09 <br /> SB 0384 2 Neutral Eliminates registration fee for hybrid vehicles. 2/11 <br /> Establishes system to provide various types of compensation in specified instances <br /> when land use requirement reduces fair market value of property. Establishes <br /> program for creation, purchase, sale, exchange or conveyance of transferable <br /> development credits. Imposes compensation and conservation taxes. Appropriates <br /> moneys to Compensation and Conservation Authority.
