Jefferson Street Paving <br />Project Description: This project reconstructed one street in the Jefferson Westside Neighbors <br />neighborhood in Council Ward 1: <br />thth <br />Jefferson Street from 8 Avenue to 18 Avenue <br />· <br />Treatment Methodology: Jefferson Street was reconstructed using 9” and 10” thick reinforced <br />Portland cement concrete. <br />Costs: Total project costs, from all funding sources, are estimated at $3,022,425. <br />Preliminary Estimate based on Pavement <br />Management System (PMS) Surface Evaluation = $1,237,000 <br />$2,586,800 <br />Total Projected/Actual Paving Bond Funds Used = <br />$(1,349,800) <br />Difference = <br />The programmed budget for the project was not sufficient to cover the scope and scale of the <br />full reconstruction of the concrete street, causing a large budget overrun. <br />Additional Sources of Funding: Stormwater and Wastewater utility funds, Stormwater SDC <br />funds, and EWEB funds. <br />Bicycling and Pedestrian Improvement funds were used for signage at three enhanced pedestrian <br />crossings. <br />Project Photos: <br /> Completed Paving on Jefferson St. Completed Paving on Jefferson St. <br />2017 Report to the SRRP Page 16 <br /> <br />
