I was pleased that this <br /> year's Mayor and City Council retreat included the Executive Managers. With the transitions, <br /> we have been careful to listen to and learn from new voices on the governing body and in our <br /> community. I appreciate the candor we have achieved in process sessions and at the retreat this <br /> year. <br /> <br /> We have tried to be responsive to feedback from the Mayor and City Council regarding the <br /> timeliness and adequacy of the information we provide for policymaking. Based on City <br /> Council suggestions at the process session last November, we changed the Agenda Item <br /> Summary format. More emphasis is placed on options, alternatives and consequences of taking <br /> various courses of action. <br /> <br /> <br />
