We continue to be recognized for our individual, program, department and City accomplishments. The list to too long for me to reproduce here. It is that commitment to achieving excellence that we seek to nurture and maintain as an important City expectation of each of us. Whether we call it continuous improvement or just the inability to leave well enough alone, striving for high performance and achieving verified outcomes is an important norm for your City organization. This year our Public Works Department was accredited by the American Publics Works Association becoming one of only about 20 organizations in North America to achieve this prestigious status.
