Avery Associates .IS a Los Gatos, California based Management Consulting firm <br />incorporated in 1982. Our focus is the Public Sector only and we specialize in Executive <br />Search and Human Resources/Management Consulting. While the majority of our clients <br />are California based, we actively support clients west of the Rocky Mountains. We have <br />clients in Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado and are actively <br />engaged with current assignments in the first three states listeda Many of our recruitment <br />assignments are high profile positions that are national in scope. Most of our <br />assignments are at the level of City Manager, CAO, ACM/ACO, and <br />City/County/Agency Department Head. <br /> <br />2. We have conducted numerous public safety recruitments but have not conducted one for <br />a Police Auditor. We have a high level of confidence in our research and recruitment <br />capability and with our ability to relate to and understand the needs of a city and a <br />community. <br /> <br />3. Our firm currently has two Principals and several key Consultantsa Bill A very heads the <br />Firm and the Management/Labor Relations practice in addition to participating in key <br />high profile searches. Paul Kimura is the Prin~ipal who oversees the Recruitment <br />practice. Ann Slate, Cris Piasecki and Gary Rogers are senio: search consultants and <br />form the core recruitment team for the firm.. We have a complement of four full time <br />administrative personnel and two part time support persoIll1el who provide administrative <br />support. <br /> <br />The recruitment team for this assignment would be led by both Bill Avery and Paul <br />Kimura and supported by Ann Slate.
